I've been photographing FIREWORKS for quite a few years, but NEVER had the unique opportunity to shoot from, essentially, directly under the blasts!
These were huge (6"shells), loud, glorious explosions raining down burning embers from which I had to protect my cameras...and my head.
As you view these images try to imagine the majesty of the sound as well as the sight. It was a great night..... Enjoy!
