New Year's Eve 2011, exactly at Midnight.
Image shot from Brooklyn across the Hudson River.
This year was much warmer than the 2010 shoot. Same extremely isolated, secure, somewhat dangerous location right on the edge on a long pier jutting into the River. I was about 1/4 mile from the nearest human.
On the other hand, it appears the water rats have been eating quite well since last year.
Shot with two cameras alternating exposures.
